[3] This will require some basic revamping of statistical terminology. This is should not be an issue, perhaps the "normal distribution" curve should be renamed. Statistical theory has an enormous liberal bias in terminology, obviously the result of it's use in academia and the influence by academic elitists. I believe the problem rests in the use of the term "average" as a synonym for "mean" which tends to imply "normal". There also seems to be some misperception regarding "leaning to the right" and "leaning to the left" which implies that they are to the right and left of the mean. In fact, "normal" is at least one standard deviation to the right of the mean and liberally biased includes 80% of the normal distribution curve (to the left side). This is roughly in line with the PIPA study sited above which shows at least 75% of Americans holding liberal biased attitudes.
