'''Rahm Emanuel''' (b. 1959) is an American politician from [[Illinois]]. He served as President [[Clinton]]'s chief of staff and as a US Congressman from Illinois' 5th district. He will be US President-elect [[Barack Obama]]'s chief of staff starting in January, 2009. Mr. Emanual is [[Jewish]]. He and his wife Ann have three children:, Zacharias, Ilana, and Leah. Emanual has a bachelor's degree from [[Sarah Lawrence College]] (1981), and a master's degree in speech and communication from [[Northwestern University]] (1985).
