There is a serious case to be made that Obama is a Hindu - he carries a miniature idol/shrine of the monkey god [[Hanuman]] in his pocket, and receives [http://www.hinduonnet.com/2008/06/25/stories/2008062556031500.htm a great deal of support] in India.
