The '''Tuvia Maizel Museum''' is dedicated to the history of Mexican Jewry and to the [[Holocaust]]. It is maintained by the Ashkenazi community in [[Mexico]]. The first [[Jews]] came to Mexico in the 16th century.
Mexico City has 23 synagogues. The largest Ashkenazi synagogue, "Beth El", is also the community's social center. Mexico's first Ashkenazi synagogue, built in 1941, is abandoned.
