Dadaism was a movement in art in the early 1900s that produced a wide variety of visual, performed, and written "art".  They were largely anti-war, and even "anti-art".  Their work questioned and challenged most current conceptions about what art was and meant.  They were large influences in later modernistic art trends such as surrealism.
