'''Morse Code''' was invented by [[Samuel Morse]] in the 1840s. It looks like a bunch of dashes and dots, but in fact it is a [[language]] with its own way of expressing [[word]]s and [[punctuation]].
The most famous Morse Code is "SOS", ---...---, which
actually does not mean anything, but was simply taken as the easiest code to remember in an emergency. People have taken it to mean many things, such as Save Our Souls, Save Our Ship, Save Ourselves, etc.
