==Cult Status==
Wicca is often identified as a [[cult]], following such notorious incidents as the Solar Temple and [[Jonestown]] massacres, which can be considered related. Also, Wicca is considered a Cult in [[France]] following a 1995 referendum. Some people have linked Wicca along with [[Scientology]] and [[Mormon]]ism as the three major cults of our era.
