The Bible states clearly that God created languages as a response to the Tower of Babel (in about 2242 BC). Now if you want to believe that English evolved from Proto-Germanic which evolved from Proto-Indo-European which evolved from monkeys grunting at each other, that's fine, but I don't think a conservative encyclopedia should state it as fact. It's just a theory espoused by evolutionist linguists, and it should be presented as such. --[[User:Brtkrbzhnv|Brtkrbzhnv]] 12:11, 21 March 2007 (EDT)

:I apologize for [[User:Conservateur|Conservateur]] and [[User:Scorpionman|Scorpionman]], not everyone on the site is like that, and for that matter, not all American conservatives share the same views as him. I agree with your sentiments about the creationist bit being spelled out in the Commandments or such, and suggest you talk to [[User:Aschlafly|Aschlafly]] about doing that, though I am personally against making this a creationist site. I'm of the opinion that that's what creationwiki is for. Nevertheless, again, apologies and welcome to Conservapedia.
