5. What is your view of the New Deal, and what might you have done differently in response to the Great Depression?
The new deal was all good and well, but that wasn't really the issue. The issue was not making sure people had jobs, it was making sure that there were enough customers at said businesses. Some people were not going to be affected by the new deal, and would still be out of a job, argo, was probably pinching pennies and could not afford a new car, or the gas to put in it, and after awhile, the people working at the car dealerships, and the gas pumps would be out of a job, and we would all be back at square one. It would be a vicious cycle.
