John III Sobieski, (Polish: Jan III Sobieski) (1629 - 1696) is probably the most famous monarch of the [[Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth]], which he reigned from  1674 until his death as a King of [[Poland]] and a  Grand Duke of [[Lithuania]]. He lead the relief of [[Vienna]], and there, defeated the Turks in the [[Battle of Vienna]] in 1683.
