'''Zebulun''' (which means "honor") was the tenth son of [[Jacob]] and sixth of [[Leah]], the wife Jacob didn't love. His story is recorded in the [[Bible]] in the book of [[Genesis]] (Gen 30:19-20). His descendents were one of the [[Twelve Tribes of Israel]]. In [[Jacob]]'s deathbed blessing, he said of Zebulun: <blockquote>"Zebulun will live by the seashore and become a haven for ships; his border will extend toward [[Sidon]]." (Gen 49:13) </blockquote>

In 2298 AM (1706 BC), Zebulun entered [[Egypt]] permanently, having visited Egypt twice before to buy grain during the famine of 2296-2302 AM (1708-1701 BC).
