The '''Great Commandment''' refers to quotes from [[Jesus Christ]] found in the synoptic [[Gospels]]: Matthew 22:34-40, Mark 12:28-34, Luke 10:25-28. Its second component refers to [[Old Testament]] Leviticus 19:18, which was twice stated by [[Saint Paul]] in Romans 13:9 and Galatians 5:14.
