'''Radio Moscow''' is the government-controlled foreign language radio station of [[Russia]], and fulfilled an identical role for the [[Soviet Union]]. It broadcasts in English and many other languages, principally on [[short wave]] radio. Under the Soviet regime it was the main outlet for broadcast propaganda from the USSR, although there were a number of other short wave stations broadcasting in English, including ''Radio Kiev'' and ''Radio Station Peace and Progress''.
