::Very good point.  The reality is this: Professor Cole and Professor Newman (two potential witnesses the court refused to allow to testify) mentioned Piltdown Man in their affidavits, but in neither case did they show much enthusiasm.  Piltdown Man ''is not'' in the textbook. (Note, this is from [http://www.bradburyac.mistral.co.uk/tenness5.html#pm], a sire devoted to trashing ''Civic Biology''.
