Changes

I really like the idea of online encyclopedias. I've been on wikipedia for years and found out about this site awhile ago i decided i could help. I cant say say i agree 100% with the allegations that wikipedia has an anti-American bias. but i do think there should be a place for people with conservative viewpoints to state them (conversely if there were a "libepedia" i would probably edit there as well. Im very pro knowledge and I absolutely hate censorship. Knowledge should be free.

while i may be a moderate i will do my best to stick the sites pro-American pro-Christianity lens. however i try to stay away from the really controversial topics (i find im not nearly angry enough to debate with those people). my first introduction to this site was pretty negative, i read a story on it that made fun of conservapedia for "factual innacuracies" and "political slander" i must admit that these charges are not entirely baseless. however im not against a site that uses the bible as an authoritative source because the site comes right out and says thats its angle. I think there is certainly a place for that viewpoint. Sadly the "political slander" charge seems to be well deserved a quick look at any democratic or liberal politician will find many statements like "He has no clear personal achievement that cannot be explained as the likely result of affirmative action". frankly stuff like this disgusts me but rather than pass this site off as a lost cause i will do what i can to bring this site back to a respectable level.
