*Winnipeg [[Jets]] ([[NHL]]) ([[Hockey]]) - Until 1996 Winnipeg had an NHL team, however due to economic circumstances and an attempt to grown interest in the Southern United States the team moved to [[Phoenix]], [[Arizona]] and become the [[Phoenix Coyotes]]. There is however considerable interest to bring NHL Hockey back to Winnipeg. Currently the Manitoba Moose, a minor league team, play in the MTS Centre, where a team may one day return to Winnipeg.
