Clearly freethought is a risk to Christianity. It must be stopped. The best way to do that is to scare people by redirecting it to the scary article about [[atheism]]. And it's a lot easier than actually writing an article about [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freethought freethought]. Those atheists at Wikipedia describe it as "a philosophical viewpoint that holds that beliefs should be formed on the basis of science and logic".
