'''Captain Kirk''' or James Tiberius Kirk, was the fictional captain of the U.S.S Enterprise in the TV series [[Star Trek]].  He was known to mix strong leadership with inspired and intuitive emotional choices.  An active character and the chief protagonist of the show, Kirk was constantly getting himself and his crew out of binds that often involved him getting involved in physical fighting.  Kirk was also a bit of a womanizer, a role that was somewhat risque for television series from the 1960s.
