Edward Teller was a brilliant physicist who became hated by [[liberals]] for developing the [[hydrogen bomb]], publicly criticizing the [[leftist]] [[icon]] [[J. :He blamed politics and the fact he was known as the "father of the hydrogen bomb." His protégé, Lowell Wood at Livermore, said that if it were not for the bomb "chances are two to three he'd get the Nobel Prize. He's commented to me that if he reared up on his hind legs and denounced the U.S. government, he'd be a good candidate."
