Line 3: − ==Forgotten Realms Novels==+ − He wrote many series, from "The Spearwielders Tale," and "The Crimson Shadow", but his most famous character is [[Drizzt Do' Urden]], the dark elf or drow. Drizzt's early life was depicted in the[[Dark Elf Trilogy]], where the swashbuckling drow rose above his dark origins. Most of R. A. Salvator's other Forgotten Realms series follow Drizzt on his adventures across the world with a close circle of companions. Some other classic R. A. Salvator characters are depicted in novels featuring Drizzt. These notable characters are Regis the Hafling, Bruenor Battlehammer, Obould Many-Arrows, Matron Malice, Jarlaxle, Cattie-Brie, Artemis Entreri, Athrogate, Morik the Rogue, and Wulfgar the Barbarian. R. A. Salvator also created the crystal shard Crenishibon, the sentient crystal whispering fallacies into the mind of the beholder. a The Forgotten Realms was first created by Ed Greenwood, a fellow author. + − Forgotten Realms : Icewind Dale − *The Crystal Shard (1988) − *Streams of Silver (1989) − *The Halfling's Gem (1990) − − Forgotten Realms : Dark Elf − *Homeland (1990) − *Exile (1990) − *Sojourn (1991) − − Forgotten Realms: The Cleric Quintet − *Canticle (1991) − *In Sylvan Shadows (1992) − *Night Masks (1992) − *The Fallen Fortress (1993) − *The Chaos Curse (1994) − − Forgotten Realms : Legacy of the Drow − *The Legacy (1992) − *Starless Night (1993) − *Siege of Darkness (1994) − *Passage to Dawn (1996) − − Forgotten Realms : Paths of Darkness − *The Silent Blade (1998) − *The Spine of the World (1999) (with Philip Athans) − *Servant of the Shard (2000) − *Sea of Swords (2001) − − Forgotten Realms : The Hunter's Blades − *The Thousand Orcs (2002) − *The Lone Drow (2003) − *The Two Swords (2004) − − Forgotten Realms : Best of the Realms − *The Best of the Realms (2003) − − Forgotten Realms : The Sellswords − *Promise of the Witch King (2005) − *Road of the Patriarch (2006) − − Forgotten Realms : Transitions − *The Orc King (2007) − *The Pirate King (2008)
