'''Mammary glands''' are specialized [[organ]]s in [[mammal]]s that produce [[milk]] to nourish the young.<ref>Wile, Dr. Jay L. ''Exploring Creation With Biology''. Apologia Educational Ministries, Inc. 1998</ref> Functional glands organs are found only in the females of most mammals including humans, although in some species (such as some bats, some goats) males also are able to lactate using these glands.
