People
have been criticizing the Barbie doll for years, saying it sends the
wrong message to girls. You have to be sexy-looking to attract male
attention. Having large breasts is the ideal.
There's even a music video by Aqua with sexually suggestive lyrics
*Girl: "You can ... undress me everywhere"
*Boy: "You're my doll."
*Girl: "Do whatever you please." [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxn567bHny8]
This sounds less like guidance
on how to have a good [[marriage]] than an invitation to fantasize about
[[premarital sex]]. Is this what we want for American adolescents?
