By this logic, General Santa Anna is also an American Hero: He is a hero in the old Mexican region of Texas + this state is part of the US = He is an American hero. Feel free to start a "Gallery of Confederate Heroes" page if you like (though how would that differ from a "Gallery of Soviet Heroes" page?). Lee does not belong on the AMERICAN heroes page.
