Those links are not to encyclopedia's but one is some game, another is Ebay! When you go to Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball] you are rightfully taken to the article for the American-invented game, "Baseball". Can you see there is a note at the top, about the disambiguation page? It shows:

This is the proper method. As for what other languages use, that is all well and good, however this is an American encyclopedia, so the concern you raise isn't something we would consider, and is solved by a disambiguation page. :-)
Part of the problem here is that images were being uploaded by users with upload rights (non-sysops), for others who did not have them, and the images left unprotected. As you know this is a legitimate security concern. Those links are not to encyclopedia's but one is some game, another is Ebay! When you go to Wikipedia [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseball] you are rightfully taken to the article for the American-invented game, "Baseball". Can you see there is a note at the top, about the disambiguation page? It shows:

Part of the problem here is that images were being uploaded by users with upload rights (non-sysops), for others who did not have them, and the images left unprotected.
