Wine is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting grapes or other fruit.  Traditionally grapes were trampled by barefooted vineyard workers to produce a pulp, which was fermented with tannins and sulphides to produce a rich, fruity red drink.  Today this process in most commercial vineyards is mechanized and soulless.  The most notorious exemplar of this modern style is Australia's Yellow Tail, whose iconic [[kangaroo]] represents an idolatrous usurpation of the proper place of the ecclesiastical names and imagery common in traditional wine making regions like Pomerol (e.g., L’Evangile, Domaine de l’Eglise, La Croix de Gay, Oussau-Iraty, Saint-Nectairre, Le Cul de Diable).
