: "CWaddell", the word "nothing" is not a verb and your long-winded sermon fails to persuade.  Chivalry was and is an ideal for all to strive for.  It is very effective in reducing and eliminating friction, insults, hard-feelings, and even accidents.  Atheists do exaggerate their criticism of feudalism because they dislike its Christian culture.  You may not be an atheist, but you have relied on biased works by atheists in your education.  Open your mind and free yourself from the bias, and you will only wish you had done so sooner.--[[User:Aschlafly|Andy Schlafly]] 18:09, 26 February 2009 (EST)

::I apologize for my poor grammar, even if said mistake was irrelevant to my argument. I'll fix it for you: "I neither 'hate' nor love feudalism. I have no moral judgment for it, as it is simply a model to simplify complex interactions in Medieval society." I'm not disagreeing with you on modern chivalry, treating each other with kindness and basic etiquette is an excellent ideal. As I described, however, this is simply not what chivalry was in the Medieval era. It applied to a specific class in specific instances. I was "long-winded" for a reason; you very obviously have not studied this topic, and I wanted to be thorough in my explanation of your mistakes. I would also appreciate it if you did not insinuate I was close-minded. While I present a nuanced argument in an attempt to help you improve your lecture, you respond by personally attacking me without responding to any of my arguments. --[[User:CWaddell|CWaddell]] 18:35, 26 February 2009 (EST)
