The '''Continental Army''' was the army of the unified 13 [[American]] [[colony|colonies]] during the [[Revolutionary War]].

The '''Continental Army''' was the army of the United States during the [[American Revolution]].  It was led by [[George Washington]], and comprised a national army as opposed to state annd local militias.

It was established by the [[Continental Congress]] in 1775, and disbanded when the [[United States Congress]] created the [[United States Army]] in 1784.
