'''Bob Ney''' was a [[Republican]] Congressman who represented the 18th Congressional District of [[Ohio]], until his resignation in November of 2006 after pleading guilty to charges of conspiracy and making false statements related to the [[Jack Abramoff]] scandal.

He is currently serving a 30-month prison sentence in Morgantown, [[West Virginia]].

In January of 2007 he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, a $6000 fine, and 200 hours of community service. He was incarcerated in a low-security federal facility in Morgantown, [[West Virginia]], and was released in August 2008 after serving 17 months. Since his release he has been a political contributor for Talk Radio News Service.
