The '''Red Envelope Project''' is a [[Christian]] grassroots project consisting of flooding the mail with red letters, symbolizing the blood of [[Christ]] and the blood of abortion victims. Red envelopes are sent to the Whitehouse, in protest against President [[Obama]]'s pro-[[abortion]] and embryonic [[stem cell research]] positions. There is no central organization behind the project, though a small handful of [[website]]s contain information and instructions for participation.
