In what way does the naming of Virginia come under ''"The following truths about history are '''typically''' denied by liberal history textbooks:"''? In my extensive reading I have never come across a denial of Virginia being named after Elizabeth, and I am quite sure that many of these books would qualify as "liberal" in your eyes, Andy.
