I'm not sure if [http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,478607,00.html?sPage=fnc/us/crime this] example is suitable for this article or not but i thought i'd suggest it. I'm not sure because i think the person in question worked mainly in New York. [[User:JamesDW|JamesDW]] 22:15, 11 January 2009 (EST)

I'll avoid addressing my main overall problem with this article in favour of simply pointing out some of the specifics:
  −
  −
* Your allegations against James Dean do not seem to have any factual basis. The director whom you quote is known to have disliked Dean anyway. I note your quote is not referenced, this is because the allegations come from a very [http://www.idontlikeyouinthatway.com/labels/marilyn%20monroe.html controversial book] that has been heavily criticised for its accuracy. In fact, the authors in that very book make other outrageous claims regarding the likes of Ronald Reagan, so to use this book as evidence against anyone is very questionable.
  −
  −
* You state that Sean Bean was arrested for an alleged offence. I think I would still be right in saying that a man is innocent until proven guilty. As far as I'm aware, he was never convicted of any offence with relation to this allegation and so mentioning it here is irrelevant. Anyone could start accusing actors of wrongdoing, that doesn't mean they did it and to simply state allegations is deliberately disingenuous. I think you also need to check through others listed where there was never any actual conviction/caution.

  −
* You mention the recent case of Skylar Deleon. He appeared in a single episode of a children's TV program as an extra, when he himself was a child. That appears to be it. That barely justifies calling him a child actor even, let alone putting him in the 'hollywood' category.
  −
  −
* Your entry on the film U571 is very odd. Yes, it is inaccurate but I fail to see how it has anything to do with a liberal ideology to portray something done by British people as being done by Americans.
