We need not recognize this sort of weirdness
'''Wendy Carlos''' (born "Walter Carlos," Nov. 13, 1949) is known for being a leading proponent of [[synthesized music]], traditional and newly-composed, especially for a series of recordings of [[J.S. Bach]] and other [[Baroque]] composers: ''Switched On Bach'' (1968), ''The Well-Tempered Synthesizer'', (1969), and others. Carlos's albums popularized the music of Bach, [[Claudio Monteverdi]], [[Domenico Scarlatti]], and others and introduced electronic synthesizers to the general public in a way that was enthusiastically received.
