The Union later surrenders, and [[Abraham Lincoln]] is arrested after attempting to flee to [[Canada]] in blackface. After serving two years imprisonment, Lincoln is pardoned (in an effort to appease the conquered North) and is exiled to [[Canada]], where he dies of old age.
