The whole idea that Christians are persecuted in the US is ridiculous but the fact that the citation points to some article about Alicia Silverstone mocking traditional marriage doesn't help your case at all.
In America the Bible is in every hotel room. In America the "Religion" book section in Barnes & Noble is dominated by Christian books. In America the President puts his hand on the Bible to be sworn in. In America Christian churches are tax exempt. I could go on and on.
The fact that some people in America criticize Christianity is not persecution. This website criticizes Atheism. That is not persecution.
