/* Alicia Silverstone is the best you can do? */
::Believe what you want. A quick search for persecution of christians comes up with many Christian organizations that are concerned with this issue but none of them are concerned that it is happening in the United States. I would challenge you to find one. [[User:MikeAndrews|MikeAndrews]] 15:03, 24 April 2009 (EDT)
:::You admit it is an issue, just not in the states. So, I can't claim lies, deceit, attacks physically and to the body of the church is not persecution? What shall I say, liberals are mean to Christians in the U.S., start aChristian meanness article, not persecuted? hmmm--[[User:Jpatt|Jpatt]] 15:22, 24 April 2009 (EDT)

Persecution can't simply be that someone who holds a belief may be harrassed or even physically assaulted by someone who doesn't hold that belief. The other examples in this article all describe situations where members of a minority religion, Christianity, are harrassed or even murdered by the government or with the tacit support of the government. In the US, Christians are the majority and any harrassment or violence against a Christian is prosecuted. If Alica Silverstone had killed or assaulted a Christian and did it because that person was a Christian, she would be under arrest. [[User:MikeAndrews|MikeAndrews]] 15:36, 24 April 2009 (EDT)
