I'm not sure exactly where these ideas come from. Bede had no recorded relationship with Sergius I. His knowledge of Greek was incredible given his historical circumstances (in early eight-century Western Europe, knowledge of Greek was very rare), but quite limited by objective standards; and like his contemporaries he had basically no knowledge of Hebrew.
