So I did some research and came across a article that cited the Rg Veda on the caste system. It said that to be a Brahmin, one would need to have a pure and simple heart. It also gives many other examples of the sort, and since this article doesn't mention it, I thought I would save everyone the trouble of figuring it out later and added a sentence to the article about this.
