==Judge Perez Hilton==

The question presented to Prejean was written by Mario Lavandeira, also known as Perez Hilton, who said, "I ran it by the producers beforehand and they signed off on it and everybody thought it was a good question." In his interview with [[Larry King]], Hilton further said, "...she knew she had lost because of that answer because it was a bad answer." King responded, "Why is it bad if it was honest?" Hilton's liberal reply was, "Honesty is great. However, in an interview this morning, she said that the audience and the judges expected her to be politically correct. You want to know what? Yes. I do expect Miss USA to be politically correct." <ref>[http://www.cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0904/20/lkl.01.html http://www.cnnstudentnews.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0904/20/lkl.01.html] CNN, April 20, 2009 </ref>
