Love is energized and sustained and made strong by Faith, thus pushing through beyond all odds until it accomplishes its purpose of blessing. Faith enables the courage to love. "For in Jesus Christ neither being circumcised accompishes any thing, nor being uncircumcised; It is Faith doing it through love that does" Galations 5:6.

Faith often makes the difference betwen life and death,. courage and suicide This is because Faith is inseparably linked with hope and lack of Faith with despair. Both betrayers of the the Lord, Judas Iscariot and Simon Peter, had different ends. One, on the one hand, Judas, racked with guilt and remorse for signaling the whereabouts of Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, showed his true lack of faith by hanging himself. Simon Peter, on the other hand, warming himself over the fire and denying that he had ever known the Man, exhibited what was in his heart of faith finding contrition, forgivenss, and reinstatement (also over the fire) in the purposes of God.
