Though a person of faith often seems adventurous as faith working through love pushes bounderies and often passes to the unkown or not yet explored, paradoxically, faith enables the person possessing it to remain stationary in the midst of turbulance, calm and unshaken in the midst of tottering foundations and chaos. This is because the person of faith "knows something" and so is unshaken in a sea of doubt and vagaries. A person of faith therefore provides a bulwark and point of stability for others seeking the way. "I know in whom I have believed and am persuaded..."

Having faith in others is both natural and susceptible of great disappointment. Having faith stems from the way we have been created, to be in need of others to provide us what is our requirement of nurturing, direction, protection. When we are thus supplied, because of the way we are made, our response is appreciation, love, and honor. Trust in the other is developed as dependability is proven The goodness of the other, and faithfulness produce in us the confidence that our faith has not be misplaced. And so due honor and affirmation is accorded to one we have so grown to trust, to love, to honor. God, for those who have gotten to know Him through Jesus Christ is just such an object for our faith. He has always loved us, supplied our needs, full of goodness dependable and faithful in his continuing care and help. He is totally good, and we shall never find ourselves disappointed in Him. Since He is God the full expression of appreciation and honor for Him is known as Worship. From faith to worship. " For without Faith it is impossible to please Him. For He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder..."
