Representative [Paul Broun] (R-Ga) has sponsored a resolution in Congress to have 2010 declared a second Year of the Bible. While the resolution has enjoyed support from Republicans, it has garnered no support among Democrats, some of whom have been highly critical of it. A similar resolution in 2008 was also rebuffed.
