:Interesting suggestion, but I disagree. Those points are all examples of good manners that people would do well to follow, but they're not chivalry. Chivalry is a tradition that has always made a distinction between male and female, so if you're against making that distinction, you're not being chivalrous however polite you are.--[[User:CPalmer|CPalmer]] 10:27, 1 June 2009 (EDT)
