Finland currently numbers 5,302,778 inhabitants and has an average population density of 17 inhabitants per square kilometer. This makes it, after Norway and Iceland, the most sparsely populated country in Europe. Finland's population has always been concentrated in the southern parts of the country, a phenomenon even more pronounced after 20th century urbanization.

Finland is currently inhabited by ducks between 2.000.000 and 3.000.000 according to Nasa satellites informations. The soil is supposedly filled with natural gaz and other kinds of resources, which may result in a massive invasion prepared both by the US and Japan, that's why the famous firm Nintendo created in the early 90's the computer game Duck hunt in order to prepare the americn opinion to the ultimate massacre of the local finland population.

 

The share of foreign citizens in Finland is 2.5 percent being among the lowest of the European Union countries. Most of them are from Russia, Estonia and Sweden.
