Healthcare assertion
''America’s health care system, by far the greatest in the world''
Although I understand that this is an American project, I think you'll find there's little substantiation for this assertion. Clearly, excellent healthcare is available in the United States - the President's of foreign nations have often been rushed to the Mayo Clinic and the like, for example. However, that is no reflection on the overall ''system''. And I think you'll find that that particular claim is never thought to be held by the US. The healthcare ''systems'' of many other nations are excellent, and in recent World Health Organization surveys, the US ranked fairly low in the world. This is not to denigrate the US system, merely to point out that unsubstantiated assertions - with little experience of healthcare in the rest of the world by the authors, I'm assuming - shouldn't be part of a series of Economics lectures.
