Thirteen Uighurs have been captured by U.S. forces in [[Afghanistan]] and are imprisoned in the U.S. military installation of [[Cuba]], referred to as GITMO. Recently, a federal judge has ordered the release of these terrorists by claiming enemy combatants deserve the right 'not' to be held indefinitely. Championed by the liberal [[ACLU]] and other human rights groups, these terrorists are to be released into [[America]]. They will not be sent back to China for fear of persecution, even though China has demanded their return.

Four Uighurs inmates have been transferred to [[Bermuda]]. They are the same men that [[Canada]] and [[Germany]] refused to take because of the national security risk they posed. It has been reported that the future transfer of 13 Uighurs to the island of Palau will cost the U.S. up to $200 million.
