Vivek Kundra is the first Chief Information Officer of the [[United States of America]], informally referred to as [[Barack Hussein Obama]]'s Technology Czar.  Like many of the other Obama administration "czars", his responsibilities are ill-defined, and he is apparently accountable to no one except the president.  However, they are likely to include some degree of involvement with [[internet]] policy.  Kundra was born in [[New Delhi]], [[India]] and immigrated to the United State when he was 11.  He previously worked under the administration of [[Tim Kaine]], the governor of [[Virginia]], and, like many other [[Spoils system|Obama appointees]], for Obama's 2007-9 presidential campaign.
