'''Taran Prost''' (October 1976-August 2003) was a prominent Romanian televangelist. He was born in October 1976 in the village of Humulesti (also the birthplace of classical Romanian writer, [[Ion Creanga]]). Taran Prost spent most of his life working as a televangelist. The Romanian Orthodox Chruch (Ro.: Biserica Ortodoxa Romana) also admired and blessed the Romanian televangelist for helping them spread the word of God. In August 2003 Taran Prost met a tragic end, when he was ran over by a car in Bucharest. The driver of that car was later imprisoned for intentionally wanting to kill the televangelist.
