I'm not sure what you mean by 'classroom' prayer, but all schools in England & Wales have a legal obligation to provide "a daily act of collective worship" that is ""wholly or mainly of a broadly Christian character" [http://www.humanism.org.uk/education/parents/worship-your-rights] [http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/education/3646389.stm] [http://www.teachernet.gov.uk/management/atoz/c/collectiveworship/]
