==Promiscuity and adherence to [[Hollywood values]]==
Jolie and Thornton exchanged vials of their own blood during their wedding ceremony, and Jolie wore her vial on a chain around her neck. The two boasted of their sexual relationship, once going so far as to announce live on camera that they had just copulated in their limousine.
She famously made out with her own brother, James Haven, after the two attended the Oscars together.
Before meeting Brad Pitt, Jolie was a self-confessed advocate of one night stands, explaining that caring for her adopted children left her little time for real relationships. While she has always stressed that she did not begin her affair with Pitt until after he had separated from Jennifer Aniston, it seems likely that she was instrumental in ending his marriage.
