Europe comprises a large peninsula on the West or the Eurasian land mass. It stretches from the [[Ural]] Mountains in [[Siberia]], in the East to the Western coast of Spain and Portugal in the West. The continent also includes the Islands of [[Great Britain]], [[Ireland]] and [[Iceland]]. It is bounded to the North aby the [[Arctic]] Ocean, and to the south by the [[Mediterranean]] sea.
